For best results, place your bottle in direct sunlight for around 30 minutes to help it charge — it’s the most effective way to activate the glow. Indoor light can work too, but results may be softer.

The glow shines brightest for around 30 minutes, then gradually softens into an afterglow that lasts for hours and hours.

-Bottle/Cup Base (Ceramic Lined): The body is made from durable, premium-grade 304 stainless steel with an inner ceramic lining to ensure no metallic taste. Frank Green uses up to 90% recycled stainless steel in their products.

-Original Reusable Cup/Bottle (Plastic): These are made from a double-walled thermoplastic outer layer.

-Lids & Internal Components: Different lid types (button lid, straw lid, etc.) use specific materials:

•Polypropylene (PP): Used for the main lid hull, button, height ring, and nut.
•Tritan: Used for the cog, substrate, and mouthpiece of the straw lid.
•Silicone: Used for various O-rings, grommets, and the lid strap, which help ensure a spill-resistant seal.
•Stainless Steel: Used for the straw (in straw lids) and the spring (in button lids).
•Thermo Plastic Elastomer (TPE): Used for the nut seal.
