Based in Australia, Lingo was created after confronting two of the most significant losses I've experienced. Losing my darling daughter, Harper, while five and a half months pregnant in devastating succession with the sudden loss of my beautiful mother, Christina; I felt lost in all aspects of my life.

Flaminglets are traditionally born white, developing their bright peach pink colours when they mature. Like all birds, flaminglets teach themselves how to fly, however this takes a lot of time, practice and slowly happens are they develop their adult feathers.

I resemble their development to how little humans develop. Our little darlings start off in the world unaware of their potential, but once they have the confidence and inner strength they begin to roll, crawl, stand, walk and talk.
